Guidelines:
Use the product name for the thread title.
The review has to be at least two paragraph long, be interesting and informative to read, and related to the scene, don't do a review on Wallmart or how you hate Verizon. No drive by reviews, no lazy three line long reviews. Include details like price, shipping, availability, anything that a person looking to buy this product would find useful.
Include at least one good picture of the product taken by you that clearly shows the product being reviewed.
Pro and Con breakdown at the end.
You cannot do a review if you sell or are involved financially with the product being reviewed, but you can answer questions.
Absolutely no threadjacking, pornography or any sort of douchbagery, questions and answers must be on point.
Check for an existing product review before starting a new one. Additional reviews for the same product from other members should be added to the existing one and follow the same guideline as above.
Reviews that do not meet the above requirements will get deleted. We want the section to be helpful for users researching products.

Thinking of coming out with a new seat for ruckus' it would be a fiberglass pan with my custom foam and any cover you choose. I have a couple questions.

what would the price have to be for people to buy them?
what options would you like to see (pre molded tail lights, mounting options...)?

basically checking how much interest there would be in something like this before I go any further on this project.

You have good ideas, but people want to see pictures, and a prototype. Build one up, put it on a ruck and see what happens. We as a community, can give you all the input in the world, but if you find out a fiberglass seat pan is no good(for whatever reason) then your gonna be out some money trying to fix your mistake. And worse would be you sold a defective product, and now your reputation is ruined.

Follow the foot steps of other people here. Build the product you have in mind, test it to make sure that its good for your market, and then build a following of customers. What you will find is that you come up with a product, and people will then give you advice and ask to see more versions.

Something with a built-in storage unit. Anything more than stock

not looking to sell them anytime soon, just seeing if there would be interest and what people would like to see for options for them, I would never sell something that I thought would not last as long as the bike! or something that wasnt tested.

good Idea on the extra storage! any specific items people would like to store in their seats?

Something that looks awesome and accounts for the downward angle of a dorf. I like your slim seat a lot but I'm not sure it would work with the dorf frames downward angle. Waterproof/water resistance is also an important feature in my opinion. I wouldn't wanna pay any more than 140, personally.

I think molded after burner tails or a frenched turtlehead would look sick.

I'm thinking about running some with integrated turn signals. Won't be for sale tho.

Too big, would have to be a THICK seat... But I'm sure some one could pull it off. We've done a non abs/frp seat with an integrated tail light in it before but that bike is long gone and has been changed since.

The problem with the lights in the seat is that your shirt or jacket (and some times your ass) will block the light. Looks great when parked but its not always super functional.
