Guidelines:
Use the product name for the thread title.
The review has to be at least two paragraph long, be interesting and informative to read, and related to the scene, don't do a review on Wallmart or how you hate Verizon. No drive by reviews, no lazy three line long reviews. Include details like price, shipping, availability, anything that a person looking to buy this product would find useful.
Include at least one good picture of the product taken by you that clearly shows the product being reviewed.
Pro and Con breakdown at the end.
You cannot do a review if you sell or are involved financially with the product being reviewed, but you can answer questions.
Absolutely no threadjacking, pornography or any sort of douchbagery, questions and answers must be on point.
Check for an existing product review before starting a new one. Additional reviews for the same product from other members should be added to the existing one and follow the same guideline as above.
Reviews that do not meet the above requirements will get deleted. We want the section to be helpful for users researching products.

http://www.cyclegear.com/eng/product/bi ... web1006842

I picked these up for 35$ on sale...figured they are metal and I didnt want to pay 20$ on ebay and wait for my mirrors to come from China.

They where smaller than I thought, but have a wide view mirror which I really like. Installation was on aftermarket bars, but stock controls, and was really easy. I used a razor to cut a hole in the left side, and a hole in the rubber on the throttle side. Then a drill bit to make a hole in the plastic and a sander bit on the dremel to clean it all up. The throttle side needs to have a small gap so the throttle dosnt stick....I tested it a ton before driving to make sure I was good to go.

The visibility was surprisingly good....sure you have to look a bit lower than stock, but I feel I have a better view, you just have to keep in mind that things are closer than they appear in the mirror. I assume every cager is trying to kill me anyway so the distance factor wasn't too big for me.

They only stick out about 1/4 of an inch more than stock, so im not much wider, they look clean and improve my visibility...highly recommend!

A simple hammer does all of this, the handlebar acts as a cookie cutter.

I put those on my Ruck. Love them. Great wide angle view, but you really have to look with your eyes and not with your mirrors when changing lanes. Objects are closer than they appear.

I'll put in my 2 cents. I got pulled over with these and the cop mentioned them being nearly useless. The same night, I bumped the left one up against a wall (not in motion, stationary) and the mirror broke off. I put my stock mirrors back on and the difference in visibility is absolutely like night and day. They're these exact mirrors, btw.

Honestly I can't suggest bar end mirrors to people that ride a lot and want to stay safe.

I bought the expensive crg hindsight lane splitters and have never looked back. There bad ads, and they fold in rather then break when hit. Love em, but visibility is small. Just objects behind me. Is it a cop or a soccer mom hard to tell at 40.

My motorcycle safety course trainer mentioned those when I told him about getting pulled over and how I found the cheap ones useless. I tried one of my crappy ones on my gy6 build and with a flat bar it's way better than with clubmans. I'll probably go with the CRGs myself now.

These are from Cali....I bought a pair and run both on my drag bars.
Visibility is great and for 20 bucks they cant be beat.
Affix and adjust them correctly and they will not break and work great!!!
:highfive:

X2
CRG mirrors work like mirrors are supposed to work. Install them and you'll never have to think about them again. I know a bunch of people who bought eBay mirrors over and over and over again. You GET what you pay for!
