R&D is overrated

from what i can tell, this mount has a lot of flex in it, the flex caused this bracket to bend and being a single shock setup on the ruck, that side absorbs all the hit causing this lean overtime

From what people have been telling me, its what happens with this mount overtime. this lean will happen, with me, it happen extremely.

i tried a few things to correct it with no success. hence my frustration with the situation.

it tweaks itself overtime, i'd like to hear riskek feedback on the mount.

edit: answering your original question, i believe its the black piece in the picture, that the motor actually mounts on and goes up and over your filter, it tweaked itself on the left side, which is the shock side. the black piece shaped like a U

Another mount with problems, this is why i posted under complaints/suggestions section on making a product review section. So that owners who actually owned certain products can give their feedback on what they think about the product that they bought.



I agree, customers should not be the ones R&Ding for the vendors unless the customer and vendor is working together.

They removed the private post of SFRuckus private conversation where he apologized and said we was just frustrated with the whole situation and stated he hit a large pot hole while turning at high speed. This bent the shit out of the mount. The bigger the guy ridding the more pressure during the hard hits. He stated the bracket (1/4" steel) was even bent from the side , that’s hone hell va hit , You can even see the shock area that caused the break It was hit soo hard the Ruckus paint was pressed off not just chipped off, thats direct downward pressure that caused the paint to be removed.. Holy shit !
If he posts the metal bracket you going to see some ugly abuse. this is a custom part and is ment to treated like a hotrod. Thats what your building not a Road warrior. All mounts have failed to this kind of abuse.
---- Customer service: He Fashed me to begin with then came back three private emails later and apologized. I responded to each of his messages and then he admitted to the hard damage and asked for a discount on a replacement Motor mount cuz it had been bent up so bad (1/4' steel bracket) we agreed on a price , he just wanted to ride in the big ride before removing the part. Then he Proceeded to create this thread and Flash me for my product and has been dinging me for the PayPal refund without EVER GIVING me a chance to respond. BLIND Siding me when we had a agreement. That was it was not the mounts falt by the way. I found the thread only buy a search after I hadn’t heard from him.
----Conflicting Facts.. He has tried to get a refund from PayPal and filed a dispute contrary to what he says. He has shown only part of the pictures and not mentioned the bent to shit 1/4" motor mount that proves the force and punishment. He was happy then blindsided me with bad facts part of the truth. The add he shows it a new add I just posted with a heavier material I make for really FAT GUYS that want the heavier metal.
-----Product testing: This Mount has been out for over a year so I don’t think he is doing the product testing now. Customers paid for and knew they were testing at the time and did that a year and half ago along with several others.

Unfortunately seen too many crooked results with this mount personally. Yea I agree with Riskek its just temporary till something I like comes out. sighh still waiting.. it is what it is.
Only 100% straight and centered mount for Gy6 is Killerscooter and ATR. And I don't have either.

it seems more likely to me (seeing the # of you mounts that have had problems,not counting the ones Ive only "heard" about) weight and application are not the problem.


i would consider re-designing or discontinuing you mount ,before someone gets seriously hurt.




Edit: i just realized your making a product thats intended use is to put an engine w/ 3 times the displacement into a scooter, and you think people are gunna "treat it like a hot rod", why not just go 30 w/ your 50cc and save some money instead of shelling out several hundred dollars to "take it easy"???????

i'm not here to argue, he said/she said BS. the mount failed. plain and simple.

i'd like to see if i could get some of my money back so i could use it towards a purchase of a new mount. and obviously i didn't get any real help on fixing the problem.

since you didn't agree to a full refund, i then requested for 350.00.
for me to even agreed to take only 350 bucks back of the 520. seriously.
if you refunded me the 520, i would have sent the failed mount back to you.

i can't be for sure but there is definitely a lean, the mount does looked tweaked.

the fact of the matter, your mount failed under normal everyday use.

i said, i could see how it could fail and even gave you a suggestion on how to beef your mount up which it looks like you changed in your build of the mount and is starting to sell the "fat boy mount"

but seriously though, what are you going to say to all your buyers,

"buyer beware of potholes, if you hit one and your mount gets f^cked up, don't come to me, i'm not going to help you out unless you pay me for a replacement"
