Guidelines:
Use the product name for the thread title.
The review has to be at least two paragraph long, be interesting and informative to read, and related to the scene, don't do a review on Wallmart or how you hate Verizon. No drive by reviews, no lazy three line long reviews. Include details like price, shipping, availability, anything that a person looking to buy this product would find useful.
Include at least one good picture of the product taken by you that clearly shows the product being reviewed.
Pro and Con breakdown at the end.
You cannot do a review if you sell or are involved financially with the product being reviewed, but you can answer questions.
Absolutely no threadjacking, pornography or any sort of douchbagery, questions and answers must be on point.
Check for an existing product review before starting a new one. Additional reviews for the same product from other members should be added to the existing one and follow the same guideline as above.
Reviews that do not meet the above requirements will get deleted. We want the section to be helpful for users researching products.

So I just bought a Ruck about a month ago, and I knew I was going to have to get myself a helmet. Initially I was thinking a half helmet, like the bell Drifter: http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=5000&L2=1&L3=103&L4=&item=BEL_120876_G. As soon I tried one on I was very hesitant as I soon realized half helmets barley stay on your head. So I immediately vetoed the whole half helmet idea.

Next I knew I wanted an open face helmet, and Cycle Gear had this really cool looking Retro Lid called the Custom 500. THe only one they had in stock was metallic silver. I tried it on and it and I really liked how it fit. I could tell it would take a little breaking in (as all helmets do) but that this was the one I wanted. However Upon searching around online I noticed it comes in some Super RAd color options, here: http://www.thebellstore.com/Helmets/custom500.html. So I went with the "Stunt Helmet." These helmets do fit a little big. I ended up getting a medium and I wear a 7 1/4 size hat. Once they break in they are very comfortable. The only down side is you have to be careful yanking it off because you can hurt your ears. Other than that is 100% Awesomeness.

Ahhhh that helmet has the worst striping ever!!!!

I know a few people at bell/Easton. MC styling isn't their thing lol. The vintage 500's use to be in all the thrift stores around here for like 5-10$. Those jet 3/4 helmets are big tho- so many to choose from it's crazy.

We own several Bell 500's. Sizing is spot on compared to all other Shoei, Bell, Aria, and Icon helmets we use for other applications. Another great open face is the Fulmer V2. I might even prefer the fit over the Bell, but without doubt, the Fulmer MUST be purchased one full size up.
